Sneaky Yogi Ninja is going on a trip…

Marie-Pier is bringing her sneaky yogi ninja on a trip to south east Asia and Australia. He’s gonna lie on the beach, go hiking, have a Mai Thai, be a yogi, take it easy…

Scratchy Ninja

Last night as I was pumping gas into my car, I realized that it was the perfect opportunity to RACK someone. In my handbag I had a Loto Quebec Christmas scratchy card. (Unfortunately I left too fast to take a pic). Hope they won something… To make their Christmas a little brighter. At least I know I won a smile.

Random Acts of Kindness Foundation

As I was starting this website and searching through the World Wide Web, I found an amazing community of people who believe that random acts of kindness should be celebrated. They have resources for individuals but also for school programs. Kindness is a ‘skill’ (for lack of a better word) that should be impressed upon children of all ages. Unfortunately in the world today I see people being more and more self-centered and in their own little world. This can be seen through the constant use of cell phones and technology where we immerse ourselves so that we don’t have to see what is happening around us and where we communicate without really communicating.

Opening our eyes and noticing the world around us. Giving of ones time and heart. Being wholehearted and daring greatly. This is what I and many others are trying to do.

I have signed up to become a RAKtivist.

An extraordinary class of kind do-er’s. Truly believing that kindness can change the world and exemplify that in everyday life.

Who wants to join me?

Lunches for smiles

Christmas is coming and I am lucky to lead the charmed life that I do. Great supporting friends and family, a good job, roof over my head and good health. Many of the things that we sometimes take for granted. I wanted to do a little something to give to people who aren’t as fortunate. I put a shout out to my friends that if they donated a pair of winter socks then I would make a lunch to go with them. Enourmous Thank Yous go to Sana, Marie-Eve, Tracey, Manon, Mia, Felicity, Karis, Julie and Irene for their generous donations. Extra big thank you to Carole for baking 50 little packages of homemade cookies, which I find is one of the biggest treats.

Mia and I went to the streets of Montreal with giant smiles and lunches in tow. We met some great people who were really grateful for a nice meal. This warmed our hearts and we are planning to do it again during the winter.

Happy International Ninja Day – Decemeber 5th

For my Sneaky Cards, my thought is ‘Go BIG or go home!’ This felt like the appropriate holiday to celebrate with the world. I handmade 75 Ninja cards for the kids at the Montreal Children’s Hospital in hope to put smiles on their faces. 😃
